Individual Courses
Principles
This course is a comprehensive introduction to California real estate, covering professional specialties, property ownership, and essential concepts for new licensees.
Enroll — $89Practice
This course provides practical guidance for real estate salespersons and brokers, including prospecting methods, comparable property presentations, listing contracts, and disclosure forms.
Enroll — $89Legals
This course introduces the laws governing California real estate transactions, helping licensees understand legal rights and obligations and recognize when legal counsel should be sought.
Enroll — $89Licensing Requirements
To qualify for the California Real Estate Salesperson Exam, applicants must complete the required pre-licensing education and meet state eligibility standards.
Exceptions
If you completed Business Law, Economics, or Accounting at an approved 2 or 4-year college, you have already completed the elective requirement. Please order a sealed, official transcript and send it to the DRE when you apply for the State Exam.
Members of the California State Bar are exempt from the college-level course requirements. Evidence of admission to practice law in California must be furnished.
Once you complete the three required pre-license courses, apply for the Salesperson State Exam. We recommend the Combined Salesperson Examination and License Application. It can take up to six weeks for the DRE to process your application.
